DGSRC Family Campout

What could be more fun than a family camp out on the DGSRC grounds?
This is your opportunity to sleep under the stars and share in an activity
with your family and friends. This is a Free members only activity.
Pre-Registration is required by July 9. Please use this link or QR code to register.

Schedule
- Saturday, July 12
- 4p.m. to 6p.m. – Set up campsites
- Approx. 6:15pm – Dinner
- 7:30p.m. until 9:30p.m. – Campfire (fire pit)
- 10:00p.m. – Quiet time
- Sunday, July 13
- 7:00a.m. to 10a.m. – Clean up and take down campsites. We will possibly have an early morning swim.
General Rules/Guidelines:
- This event is intended for families. Children will not be allowed to camp without supervising
adults.
- No alcohol will be allowed for this event.
- Please be sure to tell your children to stay on the DGSRC grounds, with the littlest ones within
eyesight of course.
Logistics:
- Campsites – Picnic Area North of the Pool. For reference, the fire pit will be directly North of the sidewalk that connects the Lower and Upper Pools.
- Bathroom/Toilet – The bathrooms on the South side of the main Upper Pool building will remain open. These are the restrooms that you would use from the gazebo or tennis courts.
- Camp Fire – We will set up a small fire pit. Please be sure to bring your own chairs for sitting around the camp fire.
- Be sure to bring plenty of bug repellent.
- Before everyone leaves on Sunday morning, we are going to do a quick group cleanup to make sure we leave the grounds clean.
Food:
- Dinner: You are welcome to bring or order your own. D’Capos will be running a couple of Campout Specials
Hot Dog, Chip, and a water/ pop for $7
Mac & Cheese and a water/ pop for $8
- Camp Fire Snacks: We’ll bring enough marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers for
s’mores. However, please bring your own skewers.
- Breakfast: We will provide coffee and donuts.
Fun Stuff
- Kids love running around with flashlights after dark. Please bring flashlights for your children
if you have them.
- Frisbees are always fun.
- Fishing at Barth Pond is a fun extra activity that my kids love. Proper fishing licenses through the state are required.
